Gary Knuckles - President of BudgetWare, Inc.

I'm the previous owner of the three year and a half old+ AudioWhiz.com website which features AudioWhiz study cassetes and audio cds.   I'm learning as you help others you receive so much more in return as well, and I'm not just meaning from a profit standpoint.


Having sold AudioWhiz in July of 2002, we are currently adding content to our other sites, such as the multiple lists and resource sections you see available, and our intent is to have  resourceful, informative sites available to all.

Our primary product now is a software program called Internet Information Manager designed for marketing and internet infomation management. It is also being used for study and research projects by students to manage their many online and study projects.

Also some of our other sites include PromoteFree.com, TestWhiz.com (coming soon), CertificationTests.com and our parent site Budgetware.com which is also our self owned hosting service and parent corporation. We also have the PBHelp discussion list which is one of the longest running PowerBuilder discussion lists around, which is 4 years old and has members from all over the world.

Other projects include the building of several email newsletters within the computer industry and  writing articles for business, and marketing  publications and ezines. My primary interests now are marketing and promotion via the internet and providing training, writing, software and digital products for the small business owner.

We are also working on some new test software for the IT certification industry too.

20 Years Business Experience:
I have owned 3 restaurants, an electrical and plumbing contracting company, a flower shop, several side businesses including a mail order business and publication and a small insurance agency. My last business was a real estate and auction company, until I bought my first computer. Then I became obsessed and my wife became a computer widow (grin) and I haven't looked back, that was 13 years ago.

13 Years Computer Experience:
10 years programming with Clipper and xbase compilers, and working with networks, have worked on multiple projects over the years from mapping applications using Mapinfo GUI, to transportation tracking and scheduling, to medical claims and patient processing. Currently programming in PowerBuilder, writing financial applications for the banking industry and doing systems admin backup and support. 10 years of hardware experience including building pcs, complete installation of networks, and 2 years of instructor/classroom experience. 

Having owned several businesses over the years I have gained an excellent education from these experiences, called "bumps and knocks" along the way. I guess thats why my Dad use to call me "knot head"?
